Two Villages. Hundreds of families. 2+ tons of food bought locally. Thousands of meals. Immeasurable love and joy!!

Yesterday our teams gave multiple weeks worth of meals, shared with love, to hundreds of families in the farming village of Jocotillo and a widows village in Tecpan, Guatemala. They played games, built structures, cooked out, and spent time with the those who live there. A glimpse into the joy of this beautiful day!! Thankful we could return to these villages this year. Your donations in action, multiplied into meals and so much more!!

Portioning the Food Purchased from Local Farms in Jocotillo

Today we portioned the food purchased from local farms and shops into bags for hundreds of individual families! 6,300 pounds! Each bag contains rice, beans, corn, oil, sugar, salt, and powdered protein. We are excited to hand these bags to the families in Jocotillo tomorrow!

 6,000 Pounds of Food from Local Farmers in Jocotillo

Today we are helping to feed the world! Our team partnered with missions groups from CtK Church to purchase 6,000 pounds of food from local farmers in Jocotillo. Buying food from the local farms benefits the farm workers and the local economy. The impact on the community is multiplied when the local farms are able to continue to provide resources for the town! Tomorrow, we begin measuring and packaging bags for the families!
