Meet the Board

Craig Bollinger – Chair

Craig has a heart for the broken and marginalized in the U.S. and around the world.  He has started several organizations, providing relief and sustainable support including “Friends of Children Everyone” and “Matthew2540”.  Craig has served on numerous boards for local and international impact for those struggling and currently on the Board of the YMCA of Charlotte, NC and Steele Creek Community Place.  He is also the co-founder of Javesca Coffee and Javesca Feeds.  Craig is the founder and Lead Pastor of Christ the King (CtK) Church in Charlotte, NC.  He has a BA from Lenoir-Rhyne College and an M-DIv. from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary.  He and his wife, Marilyn, have three grown children.  Craig loves to camp, bike, landscape and has a passion for seeing lives elevated and transformed.

Lisa Carrigan, Vice Chair

Lisa is a member of Christ Lutheran Church and has been involved with Javesca Feeds for the last 5 years with this year being her first on the Board.  She works as a physical therapist at Park Pointe Village in Rock Hill and has considered her work there as an extension of her Christian ministry as she continually seeks to not only be a witness of Christ but also to help to meet some of the emotional needs of people within that population.  This was especially necessary during COVID.  Lisa enjoys singing in their resident choir and in the choir of her mother’s church.  She has previously sung in multiple choirs at Christ Lutheran as well.  Lisa is intentional about ministering to people in her life who are in any type of crisis with prayers, phone calls, texts, visits, and cards to make sure they know they are loved by the Lord and their friends at these difficult times.  Lisa’s social ministry involvement currently includes various ministries with her women’s circle at Christ Lutheran in addition to Operation Christmas Child, Javesca Feeds, and the Rice N Beans ministry in Rock Hill.

Laura Case, Secretary

Laura was first introduced to Javesca Feeds when she attended the IMPACT HUNGER event in 2021 as a guest of an event sponsor. During the event, she had an opportunity to meet Board Chairman, Craig Bollinger and learned more about the organization and its goal to ensure everyone is fed.  It sparked an interest to do more to end world hunger.

Following the event Craig re-contacted with Laura to see if she’d like to assist in planning IMPACT HUNGER. Since then, Laura has joined the Javesca Feed’s team. In addition to working with the board to plan event logistics Laura has been publishing the monthly newsletters and working to promote Javesca Feed’s.  She became secretary of the board in December of 2023.

Laura has over 35 years of event planning, marketing, promotion, and publicity experience and has worked with a sports industry trade publication, Sports Business Journal (SBJ) for the past fifteen years.  Prior to SBJ she worked for Muhleman Marketing in Charlotte after moving from Washington, D.C. where she worked for a promotional, event and PR agency.

Annette Honeycutt, Treasurer

Annette’s career has been in the accounting and human resources field in industries including property management and civil engineering.  Recently semi- retired, Annette is currently working as the accountant for Javesca Coffee Roasters and also maintains the accounting for Javesca Feeds.

She has served at Christ the King Church for over 25 years in several capacities as treasurer, ministry leader and Council leadership. Annette and her late husband have two grown twin children.

In her spare time, Annette enjoys hiking, gardening and providing care for those in need.  In addition, she has recently begun volunteering as a Disaster Shelter Administrator for the Red Cross.

Patti Manolakis

Patti Manolakis is co-founder of Javesca Feeds and Senior Pastor of North Harbor Community Church in Brunswick, Maine, where she has served since June 2023. She is a pharmacist by profession and operates a consulting practice in health policy, strategic problem solving and facilitation, which she established in 2001 after leading clinical guidelines and student professionalism initiatives at the American Pharmacists Association and practicing as a community hospital clinical pharmacist. Over the past 10 years, she served also as volunteer staff with Christ the King Church in Charlotte, NC and Eastpoint Christian Church in South Portland, Maine in the areas of adult spiritual growth, small groups, and discipleship. She received a Doctor of Pharmacy from Mercer University College of Pharmacy and a Masters degree from Wheaton College School of Mission, Ministry & Leadership. Patti and her husband Michael are parents to 3 young adult sons and live in Falmouth, Maine.

Marilyn Bollinger

Marilyn Bollinger is an 8th Grade mathematics teacher.  Her experience includes 18 years in CMS and part time teaching at CPCC.  Marilyn graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne University with an undergraduate degree in Secondary Math Education and later finished her Masters degree at UNC-Charlotte in Middle Grades Math and completed her National Boards Certification.

Marilyn and her husband, Craig, have 3 married children and 4 grandchildren.  Marilyn enjoys making a difference in people’s lives and serving others.  She has been working with Javesca/Javesca Feeds for the past 10 years.  She also leads hospitality at her local church and is the campus sponsor for YCI, Youth Commission International, at her middle school.

Julie Huffman

Julie has enjoyed a rewarding career spanning over 35 years in the financial services industry. Julie graduated from Emory University with a bachelor’s in business administration degree. Throughout her extensive career at Wachovia and Wells Fargo she held various roles showcasing her versatility and leadership capabilities. Notable roles included branch manager, investment counselor, project manager and integration leader. Her later roles were predominately in the risk management area, where she most recently led the Customer Remediation Oversight program. She is currently the Chief Operating Officer for a small model risk management company. Julie’s passion for making a positive impact extends beyond her professional life. She has been actively involved in non-profit initiatives, focusing particularly on education and addressing issues related to hunger. 

Debra Mann

Debra Mann is an Event Planner with 36 years of experience in the industry. Debra began her career in hotel management and for the last 26 years she has been a Senior Event Planner for a Fortune 150 Company in Charlotte, NC. She is a servant at heart and affectionately nicknamed “Pitbull” by her colleagues due to her determination. Debra was born in Akron, Ohio, lived in Florida and Georgia before settling in the Carolinas. Supported by her husband and their two sons, Debra has realized a passion for feeding the hungry and leads a food pantry partnered with Second Harvest of Metrolina.
