Javesca Feeds in the Carolinas
North Carolina is the 10th hungriest state in the USA. One in five children in North Carolina struggles with regular hunger. This number increases in areas where there is not easy access to food and single parent and low income homes exist.

The Dream Center’s work in the community provides over 70,000 meals to neighbors in need. 300 families are served weekly at “Adopt a Block in JT Williams, Reid Park and Thomasboro neighborhoods.
To date, they have consistently given groceries to anywhere between 36-45 families every 2 weeks, with 2 weeks’ worth of food. They do this every month, so would average a total of 1000 – 1170 sets of
groceries per year.
Javesca Feeds was one of the first partners to help support the essential food needs in this “Food Desert” of Charlotte and we are excited to support with an annual contribution of
$10,000.
